Duties and responsibilities:

• Prepare complex individual and business tax returns.

• Review all levels of tax returns prepared by others and provide clear review notes.

• Identifies tax issues and opportunities on complex tax returns.

• Uses research tools as appropriate to answer questions during tax planning assignments.

• Collaborate with Managers or Partners to develop innovative tax strategies.

• Provide leadership by training, directing, and supervising junior staff.

• Maintain positive ongoing relationships with clients and their team of advisors.

• Assist in developing innovative solutions for clients and firm.

• Prepares routine correspondence to clients, taxing authority agents, and other third parties as directed.

• Participates in local civic, charitable, business, and other organizations.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

• CPA or Enrolled Agent license preferred

• Master’s Degree preferred

• 2-5 years of recent public accounting experience, specializing in tax

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Analytical skills with detail orientation

• Availability to work overtime during tax season
